Classroom Adventures is a suite of digital experiences that delivers STEM content in the context of real-world scenarios. We designed the experience in 12 sprints (three months). Students practice critical 21st century skills including teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving, while exploring topics within life science, Earth science, and engineering themes.
The user base for this project consists of students in the 11-13 age range. The app needed to be easily understandable by young students with limited technological experience.
Brightline had previously done work with Challenger.org and their learning platform, however, this time we were able to simplify the experience and reduce the amount of custom design work by having intro and content pages as templates.
Extensive lo-fi and hi-fidelity designs were released in the time span of three months. We worked directly with instructional designers from Challenger.org to implement vast amount of scientific knowledge. After the product launched we gathered results about success rates and received a 4/5 in client satisfaction score.
I worked on this project as a lead product designer.
